About The Cultural Event

Mission Statement

Our mission is simple - this event is being organized to encourage and motivate Ethiopian-Eritrean youth to embrace their culture and to create an engaging platform to increase awareness of the Ethiopian-Eritrean culture within our schools and community in the DMV area.

This event is supported by the Hayfield Secondary School PTSA and organized by a volunteer group of parents with a vision and desire to create a memorable cultural event that is led by and performed by high school students.

This cultural show is a fundraising event and all net proceeds from ticket sales will go to the performing student school PTSA.

Event Performers

Be a part of this special cultural event as Ethiopian-Eritrean High School Students showcase and share their heritage and culture through dance, fashion, comedy and drama.  Bring your kids, bring your friends and family and show your support and encourage these students as they embrace their culture and declare out loud "TEDEMERENAL"

Cultural Show Program

The show will feature cultural dance, fashion show, and mini-dramas hosted and performed exclusively by Ethiopian-Eritrean High School Students. The venue for the event is Hayfield Secondary School Auditorium – the largest Fairfax County Schools auditorium with a capacity of 1,500 seats.
